of use.

1. Scope

These terms apply to the StarJar Quiz app on iOS and Android, and related services such as data sync and shared question packs. How we collect and process data is described in the privacy policy.

2. Parent account

A parent account is optional and may only be created by adults (18 or over). You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for all activity under your account. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Children using the app

StarJar Quiz is for children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Parents decide profiles, learning content and purchases. The parent area is gated by an adult question; please do not share how to bypass it with your child.

4. In-app purchases

• Neon Defender is sold as a one-time purchase and remains available on the parent account that bought it, on every device signed in to that account.
• On iPhone/iPad, “All games — monthly” (49,000 VND/month) is an auto-renewing subscription billed through Apple's in-app purchase system. It renews every month until you cancel; cancel any time, at least 24 hours before renewal, in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Payment and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms (reportaproblem.apple.com). When Apple issues a refund, the corresponding access is revoked.
• On other platforms (for example Android), the same plan is a 30-day pass via PayOS (VietQR): it does not renew and is non-refundable. Buying again while still active extends access by another 30 days.
• While the monthly plan is active, you unlock current paid games and paid games released later in the app.
• Transactions are tied to the parent account at the time of purchase and cannot be transferred to another account. Use “Restore purchases” in the Store when you change device or reinstall the app.

5. Shared question packs

Question packs created and shared by users are the responsibility of the creator. Do not share content that breaks the law, infringes others' rights or is unsuitable for children. We may remove content or lock sharing when there is a violation.

6. Ownership

The app, games, images, characters and built-in learning content belong to StarJar. You may use them for personal and family learning and in the classroom (teachers with their pupils, without charging a fee), but you may not copy, resell or exploit them commercially.

Question packs you create on Pack Studio remain yours. When you share them with a code or QR, you allow recipients to use that pack in StarJar for learning, and you are responsible for the content you upload. StarJar may remove packs reported as unsuitable for children. StarJar does not currently offer class management, assignment or pupil-progress tools.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your StarJar account at any time in the parent area → Settings → account. Data is handled as described in the privacy policy. Games purchased on a deleted account cannot be restored to a new account. We may temporarily lock accounts that breach these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

The app is provided as is. We try to keep the app and content accurate and stable, but we do not guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, our liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the previous 12 months.

9. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
